character fur grooming

With a model of a stylized character, I groomed the fur of the creature using Maya Fur.

flower match to live

I received inspiration from a photograph and used Maya to model the objects and match the lighting. In Adobe Photoshop I painted the textures for the flowers, table, and glass then rendered in Mental Ray and composited layers in Shake.

matte painting

The original photo for this image is a local golf course that is currently undergoing construction. In Adobe Photoshop I used the original photo then composited water, mountains and trees to create a serene feeling.

lighting day to night

For this piece I took reference images from my own bedroom then used Maya to recreate the effects of light at different times of the day.

elixir

A fellow student was in need an outdoor scene of Poland in the 1920s for his film. I assembled a team and we used Maya to model and light the scene then Mental Ray to render.

candle match to live

I imported this photo, taken by a fellow student, into Maya and matched the perspective, lighting, and texture of the original candle.

abstract world

I created this abstract world with nurbs in Maya then textured them with procedural shaders.

in camera effect

With the help of a friend and a car model I was able to create this perspective trick with no computer post-production.

animated typography

In this piece I used a Frank Sinatra song and animated the lyrics in After Effects. My goal was to create something vibrant and playful.

bible project

This is the first video I ever made. In high school our professor had us come up with a community service project and document it. A strong sense of nostalgia has persuaded me to share the video.
