With
the help of a friend and a car model I was able to create this
perspective trick with no computer post-production.
This was an experiment using a model with a live actor. We chose
the beach location because we needed plenty of room. Before
filming we placed markers for the actor so he would know were he
was in relation to the car. Camera focus was the one problem
that we came across. We were unable to have both the car and the
actor in focus. Although it wasn't a complete success the
experiment did fool some and proves that not all effects require
the use of a computer.
